The 8th annual OREGON CHOCOLATE FESTIVAL takes place in Ashland, Oregon the weekend of March 2-4, 2012.
It is completely dedicated to Oregon chocolatiers and their fantastic creations. This show will bring together more than 40 Oregon chocolate companies who will present a variety of fine chocolates and chocolate-inspired products that tease the taste buds of over 1500 visitors. So, don’t waste time! Mark your calendar and start planning your weekend in Ashland. Join us in celebrating all things chocolate! The annual OREGON CHOCOLATE FESTIVAL - a weekend-long event will take place at the Ashland Springs Hotel and many other locations throughout downtown Ashland.

Meet, sample & buy! - Over 40 Oregon chocolatiers and other specialty food vendors present their products and tease your palate with fantastic and surprising flavors! (Saturday & Sunday 11am - 3pm at the hotel).
Chocolate & Art Gallery Walk organized by the Ashland Gallery Association (Friday, 5 - 8pm). Enjoy diverse forms of art, local wines and chocolates. Stop by Ashland Springs Hotel and view Kevin Shaw from Coastal Mist build his 10 tier chocolate cake, and visit with other artists and vendors showcased in the hotel lobby.
Chocolate Makers Dinner (Friday, 6:30 - 9pm) Two executive chefs, Kate Cyr and David Georgeson partnered in creating this delightful four-course dinner featuring chocolate in each dish. Dinner is accompanied by presentation from a chocolatier. Menu & Reservations will be available online soon. Price $59 per person inclusive.
“Chocolate Confessions” - This hilarious one-woman musical comedy guarantees to entertain and educate. Called “Fabulous, hilarious and delightful” by the Oregonian. (Shows on Friday and Saturday. Location and time TBA.)
Chocolate Martini SPA Facial Party - Saturday at 4pm - Join us in the Palm Room of the Ashland Springs Hotel for an evening of delicious cocktails and pampering. Spend time with Waterstone Spa technicians and learn about the powerful benefits of chocolate that can be applied to your skin care regiment. Waterstone Spa estheticians will lead you through giving yourself a facial. This will include cleansing, exfoliating, treating with a mask and ending with moisturizing. “The Science of Chocolate” Kids’ event at the ScienceWorks Hands on Museum - (Sunday, 1- 4pm) Children get to learn about the ‘bean to bar’ process of making chocolate. It’s an interactive event full of hands-on activities, fun and yummy surprises. Museum fees apply. Free for museum members. www.scienceworksmuseum.org
Workshops and lectures at Varsity Movie Theatre - educational presentations by Oregon chocolatiers, included in the price of the festival ticket (Saturday & Sunday 10am-11am)
Screening of the original "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" - at the ScienceWorks Museum (Saturday at 4pm)
Chocolate treatments at Waterstone Spa & Salon - enjoy blissful massage, mani & pedi, body scrub and other treatments designed to utilize beneficial antioxidants found in chocolate!
