Hip Railroad District coffee temple with a passion for the bean:  100% ceritfied organic, fair trade, shade grown.  I honestly have no idea why shade-grown would

make my coffee taste better, but I guaran-fricking-tee if I asked someone

behind the counter I'd be educated.

There are some nummy pastries to nosh while you sip, but the plain sliced

baguette with butter takes me right back to my days in Paris. 

The place is spacious and there are also a few tables outside

(which I prefer in all but a gale storm).

Prettiest latte' designs I've come across, by the way, just in case that sort of thing floats your biscotti.  It does mine:  my favourite Saturday morning game is to slowly sip around the bowl rim, evenly, to see if I can keep the pattern intact all the way to the bottom.
